BREAKING NEWS First concert of the Ross Farm autumn season announced! Ross Farm favorite Christian Lopez returns this fall, supporting singer-songwriters Tony Lucca and Alex Dezen as they tour the East Coast and Midwest. This promises to be a very special acoustic concert featuring these "American Voices," the theme of our Autumn 2016 Music Series. More details will be available as summer draws to a close and we all start looking forward to a beautiful New Jersey autumn! Sunday, Oct 2, 2016 Doors: 2 p.m., Concert begins at 3 p.m. (end of event, approximately 6 p.m.) Tickets: $25 per person Sold out Ticket presale is now closed as indoor capacity has been reached. We’re adding a twist to our History Weekend activities with live music on Saturday, Oct. 8! Stick around after participating in our annual event, or come just for the music as we welcome Nashville transplant Brooks Hubbard to the Ross Farm at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 for adults and $10 for students; admission includes light refreshments. Hubbard writes homegrown music, straight from his heart, and he counts among his influences Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Jackson Browne, Donavon Frankenreiter, John Fogerty, Brett Dennen, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers and G. Love & Special Sauce. “My music stems from this positive energy I constantly have flowing through my body, and just like a recipe, I blend in many influences to create my own sound,” the young singer-songwriter says. Hubbard is a New Hampshire native and 2014 Keene State College graduate. He credits his study of Political Science in helping mature his writing into bigger ideas. Donate now! --> Kyle Cox closed out our 2016 music series in November, and we’re thrilled he’ll kick off our 2017 season with his good buddy Matt Hires! Kyle also has a new project out in the world, even as he continues to pen new songs. If you follow his social media, you’ll read that Kyle has recently picked up pen and paper to compose these new songs, stepping away from writing with the use of technology. Raised in New York, folk singer/songwriter Brian Dunne has won the attention and praise of many. With his sharp lyrical prowess and country-influenced vocals, Brian has played in the U.S. folk scene far and wide. Citing influences such as Bob Dylan, The Band, and Bruce Springsteen, one can hear his roots winding through the sound and style of his songwriting and performing. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2011, Brian moved to Brooklyn where he currently resides. Following up 2012's The Brooklyn Bridge EP, which received critical and popular acclaim, Brian released his first full-length record, Songs From the Hive, on February 17, 2015.

While we'll stage this show outside, a rainy forecast will move us indoors, so remember to RSVP in advance and we'll make sure you'll have a spot whether we are inside or out! Jared’s raw, acoustic songs and storytelling are inspired by an amalgamation of his upbringing on 90s soul, R&B and hip-hop. He creates a sense of intimacy no matter how large the stage, wrapping crowds into a narrative of which they ultimately become the subject. We can’t wait to finally have Jared at the Farm! A lifelong soul-stirring vocalist, his aim is to marry old and new while delivering audiences a performance that is truly unique and memorable. His style is an infusion of vintage soul, folk and rhythm and blues rolled into a velvety serenade. We're excited to get back to the historic barn for a few shows this spring, and Jeiris has been on our "wish list" for a few years now!

In 2015, Joe Cirotti, Mike Alexander, and Pete Lister’s respective multi instrumentalist upbringings fused with a collective passion for the roots of American folk, country, and bluegrass music. In this way the trio’s bond is rooted in proximity, strengthened by a blue-collar passion for picking, and buoyed by their shared propensity for cigarettes and whiskey. Timmy Coyle has filled in for Mike since 2021 on multiple instruments, and they now occasionally play in tandem when the band plays as a quartet. We're pleased to welcome Joe Cirotti and the band back after wowing us at FarmFest last year, and excited to hear them in the historic Ross Farm barn! Seating will be provided.

Born and raised in Austin, TX, Jackie has traveled the world playing to crowds both as a headliner and as support for major acts such as Keb' Mo', Gary Clark Jr, Aloe Blacc, Melissa Etheridge, and Citizen Cope, to name a few. In 2020, Jackie released her studio album Vintage Machine, her first studio follow up to 2019's Joy. Music from Vintage Machine was featured heavily on Jackie's taping for Austin City Limits' 46th season, and she released the full set on "Live at Austin City Limits" that year.
