Become a Member – 2022 Ross Farm Band of Friends
2022 marks the eighth season of live music at the Ross Farm. Following our very successful campaign to raise funds for our new stage, we are happy to bring back our Band of Friends program. All of our musicians and sound technicians are paid with donations; any extra funds benefit various activities of the Friends of the Boudinot-Southard-Ross Estate.
The suggested donation for most of our concerts will be $25, but a donation of $125 for the Band of Friends membership covers one person for each of the six concerts on our schedule this year, including the two that will be ticketed events rather than by donation. Band of Friends members are automatically registered for each concert in 2022. Note, if you would like to donate for more than one membership, adjust the amount according to how many you want and there will be a field on the order form to enter the number of memberships you are requesting.
In addition to our very popular music series, FoBSR hosts students on field trips, opens the 60-acre historic property to the local arts group ARTsee for their spring and fall events, assists Trilogy Repertory with their annual Halloween drive-thru, and more. For the past two years we have created a holiday lights drive-thru that resulted in $28,000 in donations to the NJ Elks Veterans Welcome Home Kit project. A true gem on the property is Boudinot’s Giving Garden, lovingly tended by a group of volunteers, with all the produce going to local soup kitchens, food pantries and veterans. We our very proud of the spirit of volunteerism that is at the heart of everything we do. Every donation helps! If you would prefer to write a check, please make it out to FoBSR and mail to Nola Hansen, 47 E. Oak St., Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
Thank you to all who helped us stage our comeback!

Drive through the Ross Farm, festively decorated for the season, on the weekends of Dec. 19 and 26 for a free, fun and safe holiday outing with family and friends. Bring your letters for Santa before Christmas, and bring a donation to benefit local veterans in need and the Ross Farm.
Thank you to our Sponsors!
We are so grateful to our 2020 Music Series Sponsors who committed early this year to support our concerts and other activities at the Ross Farm! Who could imagine we wouldn’t actually have any concerts or events in 2020? We owe them a huge shoutout and hope that you’ll also show your appreciation by using their services or visiting their businesses when you can! Make sure to thank them for supporting the Ross Farm and let them know we can’t wait to be together again as soon as we can.

April 2020 announcement
Dear Ross Farm friends and family,
We were so looking forward to gathering at the Ross Farm again this spring to work in Boudinot’s Giving Garden, share our history with the Oak Street School 4th graders, host the amazing local artists at the annual ARTsee Happening, and kick off the sixth season of our Ross Farm Music Series. We were looking forward to our booth at Charter Day and trying some new things at the Farm. However, along with much of the rest of the world, we are taking a pause while we all work together in an attempt to lessen the spread of COVID-19 in our community and beyond.
We are following local, county and state guidelines and we are still looking forward to gathering at the Ross Farm once we are on the other side of this extraordinary time in history. With the Ross Farm history reaching back to the very beginnings of our country, this time will also become part of our history. Some events have to be cancelled, but we hope to reschedule as many as we can, and we will definitely keep you posted. To that end, please follow us on Facebook at The Ross Farm – Basking Ridge for the most up-to-date information.
We remain grateful to the Somerset County Parks Commission, our supporters and friends and anticipate a joyous return to activities when it is deemed safe to do so.
With warm regards,
The Friends of the Boudinot-Southard-Ross Estate
